Evolving photograhy

Evolving Caption

Pietre Hugo's work primarily works in potraiture and whose work engages with both documentary and art tradition with a focus on African communities.
During 2009-2010 Hugo photographed the people and landscape of an expensive dump of obsolete technology in Ghana. The area on the outskirts of a slum known as Angbogbloshie, is reffered to by local inhabitants as Sodam and Gomarrah, vivid acknowledgement of the profound inhumanity of the place. When Hugo asked the inhabitants what they called the pit where the burning takes place the repeatedly responded: 'For this place we have no name'.

I like Friessel's work becuase she expands her art of work,
for example these photos shows the evolving fashion photo-
graphy , it brings about the unusual in fashion camerawork
and embraces the strong trend toward surrealism or realism.
Both photos by Friessel are presented extremely sharp and-
clear.
Toni Friessel began her career as a photojournalist and fashi-
on  photographer in 1907-1988. She is best known for her pi-
oneering fashion photography and her informal potraits of the
famous and powerful in United States and Europe,  inclu-
ding Winston Churchill, Eleanor Roosevelt, and John F.-
Kennedy and Jaqualine Kennedy.

they tell a story on their own without
 a description or article.
In this state the audience can only imagine suffering, loss, liberation,  and transformation

This wasteland in pictures, where people and cattle live on mountains and motherboards, monitors and dscharge hard drives is far removed from the benefits accorded by the unrelenting advances of technology.

My World: Potraiture Bliss

 Why like it?
I have always been facinated by the view in UJ, Kingsway Campus. I took this picture during the day becuase i couldn't resist the beauty of this view, and the traffic of students near Student Centre. this photo is inspired by the everyday life that a student experiences, especially when you are fortunate and experience an amaizing view.
